Campbells Prime Meat Ltd guarantees that all products supplied to customers are of the highest quality.

Payment Options

Campbells accept all major credit/debit cards (no minimum), PAYPAL and our website uses a secure payment system, Stripe. All transactions are in sterling GBP.

Acceptance Of Order

Our acceptance of your order takes place at the dispatch of the order, with the exception of special orders you may cancel your order up to this point. The purchase contract is made at the point of dispatch. The responsibility for the order is ours until you accept delivery of the order. We make every effort to dispatch your order as quickly as possible or to arrive on a date specified by you, but we cannot be held responsible for events outwith our control. Please note due to the perishable nature of products sold on CampbellsMeat.com we will not accept order cancellations after the point of dispatch.  Should you need to cancel your order, we do require at least 2 working days notice for any cancellations or date changes on your order.

Website Liability

We make every effort to ensure our website is as accurate as possible but we can accept no responsibility for any loss resulting from information contained on our website or in respect of any omissions or errors. We give no warranty to any of the information contained on our website. To the extent of the law, by using CampbellsMeat.com you agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss or incidental damages that arise as a result of using CampbellsMeat.com.

Refunds

Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same method of payment as used to place the order. Campbells will refund the order value if they are unable to fulfil the order or have not received the payment in full. We do reserve the right to refund your orders due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Right To Cancel

Your right to cancel starts at the time of placing the order, as all of our products are food and therefore perishable, your right to cancel ceases at the point of dispatch. We do reserve the right to cancel your orders due to any event outside our control or unavailability of stock. In such a situation, we will contact you promptly. If we have to cancel an order in these circumstances and you have made any payment in advance for products that have not been delivered to you, we will refund these amounts to you as soon as possible.

Delivery Methods & Times

Campbell’s deliveries are made by UPS or DPD within 1 working day of dispatch, with the exceptions of remote areas, highlands and islands or any unforeseen circumstances – such as weather delay.

We will deliver our products in specially designed cardboard boxes to anywhere in the mainland UK. UPS or DPD courier collects the completed orders from Campbells and delivers them directly to your door. Customers can give additional delivery instructions for their order online at the time of purchase. Deliveries are attempted at least once on the day of delivery. UPS or DPD may deliver the package to a neighbouring house whilst posting full instructions for collection on an instruction card at the delivery address. If it is not possible to deliver the package on the day of delivery UPS and DPD will return the package to the local depot and attempt to deliver on the next working day.

Retention of Title

This remains with Campbells Prime Meat Ltd until the goods are paid for in full.

Delivery Charges

These are automatically added to the cost of the product as part of the process of submitting an order. Postage/delivery is subsidised for UK Mainland orders – Campbells charge for orders under £70, for orders over £70 delivery is free (excludes highlands, islands, Northern Ireland and international deliveries). Order Confirmations

Upon submitting an order using our automated shopping basket system, the customer will receive an email containing order confirmation and details of the order. The customer should ensure all information is correct at the time of placing their order. If any details are incorrect or unexpected within their order confirmation email, the team should be informed as soon as possible at info@campbellsmeat.com or 0131 526 44 44. If we are able to make changes, we will always do what we can to assist with this, this must be done prior to being dispatched.  We cannot accept responsibility for any incorrect information we have been provided with, including delivery addresses.

Insurance

Liability insurance is included.

Application of Value Added Tax (VAT)

VAT is included in the cost of each product, where applicable (VAT number GB 229572779).

Image Liability

Please note that pictures on the website are for illustration only and will be different from actual product. We do not supply cooked products unless otherwise stated on the product. If in doubt, please contact us before ordering. Errors & omissions excepted.

Discount Coupons

Please note a maximum of one discount coupon can be used per shop session. We will not accept orders with multiple discounts on the same product or double discounts on all items in the order. We reserve the right to extend, withdraw or cancel promotional items, special offers or voucher codes, at any time for any reason without notice. All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.

You warrant that you are using a voucher code on our site in good faith. If you redeem or attempt to redeem a voucher to which you, or a third party, are not entitled, you may be committing a civil or criminal offence.

If we make a refund for a Product that has been purchased under a promotional offer, the refund will be based on the terms of the promotional price. Your statutory rights are not affected.

In the event that Discount Voucher Codes are issued, they will have their own terms associated with them. These terms will be explained at the time the code is issued (if the code is issued electronically or physically, i.e. posted/delivered, then the terms will be explained in writing). If you are in possession of a code that does not work please contact customer services immediately. If the code is not working as a result of its individual terms and conditions then this will be explained.

Any introductory offers are available as one-off purchases only and we reserve the right not to honour introductory offers at our discretion.

Christmas Delivery/December Slots Terms and Conditions and Things to Note:

  • For delivery slots 19th December 2024 – 21st December 2024 the minimum spend is £70.00. Orders under £70.00 cannot be delivered on these dates.
  • Be aware of the refrigerated shelf life of products. Due to this, we cannot guarantee that these will be dated to the 25th December 2024.
  • Be aware that if you are ordering previously frozen products, these are not suitable for freezing.
  • If ordering fresh and frozen products, your order will be in more than one box. This may also be the case for larger orders.
  • Frozen Hampers are available for delivery from 4th December 2024 – 21st December 2024. These will arrive frozen.
  • Hampers should be kept frozen until you’re ready to use products. Once defrosted, these are not suitable for re-freezing.
  • Please allow time for Hampers to defrost suitably for the required cooking day.
  • Delivery slots may close earlier than normal due to reaching capacity.
  • Due to the busy period, please note we cannot guarantee orders can be added to once they have been processed. Please ensure everything is on your order before completing.
  • Please ensure you double-check your order confirmation email.

Each of our Campbells Meat products is backed by our 14-day money-back guarantee. This guarantee period includes any statutory cancellation period to which you may be entitled (including under the Consumer Contracts {Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges} Regulations 2013).

Data Protection

Campbells Prime Meat Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation 2018) and according to the Web Trader Code of Practice. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. Campbells will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Campbells will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number and email address. We will not share your email address or any other details.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Web Trader Code.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a ‘cookie’ which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. Security

Campbells Prime Meat limited provides the customer with a secure payment system by Stripe that meets all requirements issued by consumer protection and law. We regularly review the security of the system and follow the strict instructions of Stripe.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

Stripe forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including its website and the Dashboard.

All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons is able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.). Subscription Club

Campbells Prime Meat Ltd. operates the Campbells Gourmet Club which is an auto-renewing subscription service. After your first order, you’ll be placed on an ongoing subscription, receiving a box every 2 or 4 weeks charged at the standard plan fee.

If you don’t wish to receive further deliveries go to My Account to cancel. Pause your plan for up to 3 months at any time by going to My Account or contacting Customer Services. You cannot pause or cancel your plan on the day of dispatch or change delivery date on the day of dispatch.

Payments for the Gourmet Club are taken 1 day before delivery day.

You may reschedule delivery of your subscription plan by up to 14 days or 7 days prior to your delivery date depending on your plan type (two-weekly / monthly) and make changes to the products in the plan if you have chosen a custom plan.  After this time, your order is processed onto our system and we may be unable to make the required changes.

SUB10 discount code – Must be applied at the time your subscription begins.  If you do not enter this, please get in touch with our team on info@campbellsprimemeat.com where this can be added.  For custom plans, the 4th free box is based on your average spend of the first 3 boxes.  Any products which exceed the average spend, will be automatically removed.

Taster Plan – *To claim 1 x Free Meat or Fish Box – minimum 10 gourmet club subscription purchases required or spend value of £290 to qualify whichever is greater. The free box consists of chosen items by our team and will be in addition to your existing plan.

Family Plan – * To claim 1 x Free Meat or Fish Box – minimum 10 gourmet club subscription purchases required or spend value of £590 to qualify whichever is greater.**One free product is applicable to selected products only. The free box consists of chosen items by our team and will be in addition to your existing plan.

Unforeseen Circumstances

While every effort will be made to meet shoppers demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other causes beyond the control of Campbells Prime Meat Ltd.

Complaints

If you have a complaint please contact us immediately by e-mail to info@campbellsmeat.com or by phone 0131 526 4444. All complaints will be acknowledged within one working day. Any complaint will be dealt with fairly, effectively and confidentially in accordance with the Web Traders Trust UK Code of Practice. These complaints will be dealt within seven working days.

Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish Law and you hereby agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
