This curated fish selection contains a variety of top-quality meats, including unsmoked and smoked haddock fillets, fresh salmon and cod portions. It’s designed for versatility and ease, giving you plenty of options for quick weekday meals or more elaborate seafood dishes.

Unlike supermarket seafood, Campbells’ fish is filleted and packed to order. With next-day delivery, each fillet arrives chilled and ready to cook or freeze. Our fishmongers ensure consistent portion sizes, delicate handling, and traditional Scottish smoking techniques where applicable.

The box’s namesake, Stuart, has been a fishmonger for over 20 years and has spent many years developing our very own in-house fish department. This box is a personal selection of the most premium Scottish fish available.

How to Store Fish Portions Safely

Keep refrigerated at 0-4°C and consume within 5 days of dispatch. All fish items are suitable for freezing, freeze on the day of delivery and use within 2-3 months. Defrost overnight in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.

How to cook

Grilled Salmon or Haddock

  1. Preheat grill to high.
  2. Season fish with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Grill for 6-8 minutes, depending on thickness.

Oven-Baked Mackerel or Smoked Haddock

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan).
  2. Place fish in foil with herbs and butter.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky.

Pan-Frying Fillets

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  2. Cook skin-side down for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden.

Packaging

Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.

To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.
